  Buy Wine Online

Buy Wine Online

Why buy wine online? Well, for a start, it means you can check out a lot more about what you are buying before you make a purchase. You have the chance to read up about the type of wine you are buying - full reviews not just a note on the supermarket shelf! You'll find that wines you buy direct are often cheaper than their supermarket equivalent. Whilst you are unlikely to find really cheap wines online, you will find that mid range and quality wines online are good value for money. And, of course, your wine is delivered to your door.

I have recently bought a great case of wine from ChateauOnline. ChateauOnline are a French wine merchant who ship directly from France to your home in the UK. The wine that I have tried so far is really top quality...even the cheapest bottle of wine has a depth and maturity often missing from wine that you buy from the supermarket. So, if you are looking for high quality French Wines, I recommend trying ChateauOnline.

The WineMan has recently been recommended to me and I am about to try a case of their wines. I'm already encouraged by the design and layout of their site which is wonderful for someone like me who needs some help deciding what to buy. Kevin O'Rourke who runs the WineMan has clearly put a great deal of time into reviewing each of the wines he sells and into producing a logical and helpful site where you can not only order a mixed case but can browse through by country to find the wines that you really like.

Oddbins obviously has a high street presence, but you might be suprised to find that their online wine shop has a far more extensive selection that you can find on the shelves of their shops. And, although you can't ask an assistant for advice, you will find that each wine has a comprehensive description. Oddbins also has some great internet only offers that you can't get in their high street shops...and of course you can buy your wine when you like and have it delivered directly to your door!

Finally, Virgin Wines is one online company that I have personally tested VERY extensively. That's partly because a lot of their wines are only available through them and partly because once you have bought a case or two of wine, you will find that you get some great incentives to keep coming back and buying more. There are normally a whole range of introductory offers on wines ranging from party and barbecue plonk to some classy and quite exclusive bottles of fine wine.

So, if you want something a bit different to the wine you can buy from the supermarket, if you are always looking for new wines to try, why not buy a case from Virgin Wines.
