UK Shopping
Have you wondered why every High Street in the UK looks the same? The recent all party parliamentary group for small shops report has warned that the future of small and independent retailers in the UK is looking bleak and they may disappear from High Street. There are now real concerns that the majority of small retailers may be forced out of business as soon as 2015. Now, every High Street has to have a Gap store, a Marks and Spencer, a Starbucks and a Next...whilst small local traders are disappearing. But don't worry, you can still find unique products using the internet.
Here at By-Invitation, we believe that online shopping in the UK has grown exponentially partly because of the trend in the High Street for everything to be the same! Did you know that in 2005 UK consumers bought £8.2bn ($14.3bn) of goods from online shopping - up 28.9% on 2004, according to market analysts Verdict.
Online shoppers spent an extra £1.8bn in 2005 closing the gap between online shopping in the UK and the £9.4bn spent in department stores in 2005.
25% of all UK shoppers now buys goods online, and the number of people in the UK shopping online grew by 25.5% to 14.6 million people between 2004 and 2005.
Of course apart from offering some unique products that you just can't find on the high street, shopping online also means that you can buy what you want at a time that suits you!
So, why not join the growing number of online shoppers in the UK. Here at By-Invitatation, we have found some unique products and services that you just won't be able to find elsewhere. Just click on any of our links to find out more...
