Pouring a beautifull sparkling light ruby colour, it has the distinct aroma of blackcurrants. Very smooth to taste, it has long chains of blackcurrent and deep ripe red grape. Little lingering taste, this wine also refreshes the palate, so is a definite pre-meal or amuse bouche wine for dinner. Having said that it is easily drinkable on its own.
The bottle is beautifuly styled and embossed and will be a discussion in itself with your guests. This Tavel Rosé is part of the Aldi Premium Christmas range, so I would grab one when you can. |
