The Speciality Food Fair 2012

The Speciality Food Fair, held at Olympia, is the definitive event for showcasing artisan food and drink to high quality trade buyers. Although not open to the public, the Fair is aimed at delis, farm shops, independent retailers, restaurants, hotels, caterers & wholesalers who are all looking to source fine food, fine wine and catering equipment.  It also incorporates the Speciality Chocolate Fair which exhibits the cutting edge of chocolate production and packaging.

This year there was over 600 exhibitors, as well as product and cooking demonstration areas.  Footfall was good, with a consistent level of traffic but not crowded, making it a more relaxed and less ‘jostling’ experience than many shows; and being trade only, you didn’t get the hordes of freeby-hunters at open shows – everyone was much more civilised.

The Speciality and Fine Food Fair is held at London, Olympia.
